Introduction

1. A follower of the Way does not kill.
2. A follower of the Way does not take what is not given.
3. A follower of the Way does not engage in sensual misconduct.
4. A follower of the Way does not speak deceptively.
5. A follower of the Way does not intoxicate oneself or others.
6. A follower of the Way does not slander others.
7. A follower of the Way does not praise self.
8. A follower of the Way does not possess anything selfishly.
9. A follower of the Way does not harbor ill will.
10. A follower of the Way Does not abuse the Three Treasures.
